1.Who may purchase 【WorldMed Outbound】?【WorldMed Outbound】 is for people who are traveling outside the US. It's suitable for people who need to go on long term business trips or study abroad.
2.Is there any service charge for applying for 【WorldMed Outbound】?Yes, there is a $5 enrollment fee for the purchase.
3.Am I eligible to purchase 【WorldMed Outbound】 if I already arrive in the US?Yes, regardless of how long you have been in the US, you are eligible to purchase. Minimum coverage period is 5 days, and maximum is 364 days.
4. Can I purchase 【WorldMed Outbound】 by phone?Yes. 7.If I purchase 【WorldMed Outbound】 online, how do I make sure my purchase is successful?Once your online application is successfully submitted, you will see the 「Thank you for purchasing Visit USA-HealthCare Insurance」page. Also, an electronic copy of your confirmation and policy ID will be e-mailed to you as well.
8.Can I renew my policy if my trip lasts longer than originally planned?No, but you can re-apply for another policy. Be sure to re-apply before the last day of your existing policy, and set the effective date of your new policy on the day after your existing policy ends.
9.If I decide not to come to the US, can I cancel my insurance and receive a refund?Yes. A cancellation and refund will be considered if requested in writing prior to your effective date of coverage. When your medical expenses are over the deductible, the insurance company will cover the remaining amount.
13.Would the insurance company cover all the medical expenses once the deductible is met?Yes. The insurance company will fully cover the expenses once the deductible is met. Note: Maximum benefit limit for Plan A $500,000 and Plan B is $1,000,000.
14.Does 【WorldMed Outbound】 cover pre-existing conditions?No. Pre-existing conditions is any condition or disease (whether known or unknown) that exists 6 months prior to the effective date of your policy.
15.Any age limit for purchasing 【WorldMed Outbound】?Yes. The product is for children born after 14 days and for those under 69 years old.
16.What methods of payment are accepted?Any major credit cards （Visa、Master、Discover、American Express）or check.
17.What is Home Country Coverage?It provides certain coverage in your home country. If you have purchased 【WorldMed Outbound】 for more than 3 months, then this is available to you for 30 days.
18.What's the difference between 【WorldMed Outbound】 and 【InterMedical】 Insurance?【InterMedical】 is suitable for short-term travel while 【WorldMed Outbound】 is suitable for long-term travel. Also, the maximum coverage and premium of 【WorldMed Outbound】 is higher than 【InterMedical】 Insurance.
